The Caste is Not a Rumour is a Virtual Reality experience made by the Memesys Culture Lab. This VR movie was directed by Naomi Shah and Pourush Turel. The spatial sound design was made by Gábor Erdélyi and myself, Lajos Kolozsvári. It is available on YouTube and from Google Play Store inside the ElseVR application.

This is a documentary film about tension between castes. It was started by a public flogging of four Dalit juveniles. They were beat because of an alleged rumour that they skinned a dead cow. This conflict leads to spontaneous protests and demonstrations which is threatening to become an uprising.
